Gloucestershire Wedding | Emilia & Tom
Emilia and Tom’s wedding took place at the end of July in Stroud in Gloucestershire. Emilia and Tom wanted to keep things really simple and for their wedding photos to be relaxed, natural and documentary. We took a few group shots immediately after their ceremony and I took them for a little walk down the lane to capture some portraits of the two of them alone together, but the rest of the day’s photography was super relaxed and spontaneous.
Emilia and Tom won points with their guests by serving tea and homemade scones tea before their ceremony began.
As Tom and Emilia had got the ‘legal bit’ done a week or so before their wedding day, they were free to have the ceremony they dreamed of in Emilia’s parents’ garden. The ceremony was written and led by their siblings with readings from friends and family. It was a beautiful ceremony, and all the more emotional for how personalised it was.
Afternoon entertainment was provided by the jazz duo Holder and Smith. They’re one of the best live acts I’ve ever seen at a wedding, they were amazing. If you’re looking for a jazz duo to play at your wedding or event, do go and listen to their music and watch some of their videos. They had everyone up and dancing.
